Description Robert Half has a client in need of talented and eager Bookkeepers for a new permanent role. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply today! As the Bookkeeper you will manage full cycle A/P, data entry, and cash applications. Furthermore, you will be responsible for month-end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation. We want to hear from you if you're a self-driven and organized professional. This Bookkeeper opportunity will be located in the Lakeview, California area and will be a permanent position.What you get to do every day
Ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Additional special projects if necessary
Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation
Categorize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Manage monthly accounting close
Help with monthly accounting close
File cash flow projections, as needed
Direct Accounts Receivable
Manage Accounts Payable
General ledger Requirements - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Microsoft Excel experience required
Well-founded grasp of Asset Inventory
Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
General ledger experience
Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
General familiarity with payroll
Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Proven knowledge of journal entries
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Highly organized and self-motivated
Detailed and have the ability work independently
The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
