Paralegal

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in Lake Forest (soon to be moving to Irvine). This role will involve strong project management skills, reporting directly to the General Counsel. This role serves as a comprehensive support system in our legal department, helping manage real estate, employment law claims, compliance, insurance, sustainability, and investigations. This position will also involve handling both real estate leases/property management and overflow litigation tasks. The role will be based in office daily in Orange County - please do not apply if you do not live here.Responsibilities Assist the General Counsel in managing real estate, claims, compliance, insurance, sustainability, and investigations projects Participate in litigation support when needed, although litigation is not a primary requirement for this role Utilize legal spend tracker and case management software to submit invoices and manage legal holds Use project management skills to calendar deadlines and track progress Conduct internal employment law investigations and handle complaint inquiriesPerks of Company Growth in terms of skillset and managerial opportunities Small and nimble legal department (no bureaucracy!) Kind and down-to-earth GCRequirements Minimum of 1 year experience in a legal environment (ideally in-house, but law firm is sufficient) Ability to commute to Lake Forest at first, then Irvine Ideally exposure to employment law, real estate law, compliance, or sustainability Bachelor's degree in a pre-law related field or a paralegal certificate is preferred (with no plans to go to law school in the next 3 years)Ready to apply?
