Description Robert Half Management Resources is supporting a small yet fast-growing publicly traded start-up with a dynamic and engaging environment. We are seeking a seasoned and self-motivated Financial Controller who will handle the management of all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.Responsibilities:

Oversee all the company's financial and accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Inventory/Costing, Revenue Recognition, and Payroll.

Responsible for the preparation and filing of all financial statements, reports, projections, and summaries, including 10Q and 10K reports.

Manage budgeting and forecasting and conduct regular financial analysis.

Implement system controls for ensuring data integrity and designed to mitigate financial risk.

Work closely with auditors during financial and operational audits.

Identify cost savings and revenue-opportunity areas.

Comply with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance; MBA or CPA is preferred.

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a startup or small company environment.

Solid experience in coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Hands-on experience with 10Q and 10K preparation and other regulatory filings.

Proficient with accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.

High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills.
