Medical Front Desk Specialist

Description We are in search of a Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our team in Laguna Woods, California. You will be a crucial part of our healthcare team, primarily handling front office duties and patient care coordination. The role involves managing patient check-ins and check-outs, scheduling procedures, and liaising with the billing and preauthorization department. As a Medical Front Desk Specialist, you will also be responsible for providing an excellent patient care experience and contributing to our clinic expansion.Responsibilities: Manage patient check in/out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Schedule procedures and follow-ups, maintaining a well-organized appointment system. Conduct insurance benefit checks and communicate with the billing and preauthorization department as required. Utilize the NexGen EHR system for data entry and patient record management. Collaborate with the team to learn about advanced minimally invasive vein treatments. Contribute to the expansion of the clinic, putting in the effort towards growth initiatives. Deliver an outstanding patient care experience, ensuring all interactions are detail oriented and courteous. Utilize Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Teams for administrative tasks and team communication. Handle medical insurance billing and verification procedures. Perform receptionist duties, including answering a multi-line phone system.
