Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Laguna Beach, California, United States. This role is instrumental in the real estate industry, where the successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all financial matters. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Utilize your proficiency in accounting software systems such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports to carry out daily tasks and generate reports Draw on your knowledge of real estate investment principles, financial modeling, and market analysis to guide financial decisions Use your exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and maintain accurate customer credit records Handle financial leadership tasks, leveraging your experience in similar roles within the real estate sector Collaboratively work across teams, utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of customer credit applications processing Perform auditing and oversee budget processes to ensure financial health and compliance Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Proficiency in 3M and CRM software Deep understanding of Accounting Software Systems and Crystal Reports Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Proven ability in managing Accounting Functions Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge in Auditing processes Expertise in managing Budget Processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Solid experience in financial reporting and regulatory standards Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field detail oriented certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
