Staff Accountant

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Keene, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial information, account entries, and assisting in project management. Responsibilities: Coordinate the implementation of accounting systems and control procedures Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize the financial position of the company Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts like general ledger Conduct audits on contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions Manage and reconcile accounts as necessary Handle job cost accounting and related tasks Collect data and prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications for accounting tasks Employ general ledger, audit, and account management skills to fulfill job responsibilities.
