Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Customer Service Representative to support their dispatch office. This role involves managing dispatch operations, booking loads online, and handling brokerage loads. Book loads on the internet and manage brokerage loads.
Provide support to the dispatch office in the absence of regular staff.
Train in the Billing department once fully trained in dispatch/CSR functions.
Maintain excellent attendance and be a dependable team player.
Be flexible with work hours, including the possibility of starting earlier or staying later.
What’s Needed?
Previous experience in a dispatch or CSR role is essential.
Hands-on experience in booking brokerage loads is needed.
A background in dispatch offices or the trucking business is preferred; familiarity with job functions is required.
Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are highly desirable.
Proficiency in computer skills, including QuickBooks (for billing), Excel, and typing (minimum 40 wpm).
Mature, reliable, and capable of working in a team environment.
Excellent customer service experience and a professional demeanor.
Familiarity with warehousing/3PL/transportation environments is a plus.
Must have a strong attendance record and the ability to multitask.
Candidates must be prepared to present their CDL upon starting.
A typing test will be conducted before and during the interview to verify minimum typing speed requirements.
Knowledge of the operations of TMS systems is required.
