Sr. Accountant

Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records, spearheading improvements in accounting processes, and providing guidance to the accounting team. The role also involves overseeing the corporate credit card process, managing accounts payable and receivable, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements. Responsibilities: Work closely with the accounting staff, providing guidance and training as necessary. Ensure the integrity of data in the accounting system and participate in cross-functional data integration efforts across multiple systems. Ensure financial records are accurate and in compliance with US GAAP and other regulations. Oversee the corporate credit card process. Manage various monthly accounting processes, including complex service revenue invoicing processes that require reviewing and importing large amounts of transaction data. Perform monthly variance analysis. Assist in managing the organization's accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Identify areas for improvement in the accounting process and implement solutions. Participate in the annual audit process and work with external auditors. Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
