Your purpose-driven work will help leave lasting and positive impacts on patient lives.How you will make an impact:· Optimization of Manufacturing Processes: Utilizing engineering methodologies such as SIX Sigma and LEAN to enhance manufacturing operations. This includes the technical redesign of equipment, tools, and fixtures to meet the highest standards and contribute to operational excellence.· Development of Validation Experiments: Designing and executing complex experiments to validate manufacturing processes. Analyzing the outcomes, providing insightful recommendations, and compiling comprehensive reports to drive continuous improvement.· Resolution of Manufacturing and Compliance Issues: Tackling complex issues head-on, including Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and non-conformances, ensuring compliance and maintaining the integrity of manufacturing processes.· Creation of Training and Documentation: Developing clear and concise work instructions and training materials to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer and uphold manufacturing process consistency.· Project Management Leadership: Spearheading project plans using robust project management tools to guarantee that deliverables align with customer expectations and project goals.· Manufacturing Support Oversight: Providing guidance to technicians conducting tests, offering constructive feedback, and managing their activities to ensure the highest quality of work and adherence to project timelines.What you’ll need (Required):· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Scientific field with 4 years of previously related industry experience OR Master’s Degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 3 years of previously related industry experience Required.What else we look for (Preferred):· Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS Project· Effective communication skills· Foundational knowledge of statistical methods· Experience with Optics and LASER Applications· Hands-on experience with laboratory and industrial equipment· In-Depth understanding of engineering principles· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills· Robust project management abilities· Leadership and change management experience· Commitment to safety and quality standards· Familiarity with FDA Regulations· Meticulous attention to detail· Ability to have professional interactions at all levels· Efficient priority management in a dynamic environment· Teamwork and interdepartmental coordinationAligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.For California, the base pay range for this position is $103,000 to $146,000 (highly experienced).The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
