Power BI expert with visualization, design dashboarding and to clean up their current dashboards. Strong SQL query experience. Resource needs to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with end users to gather requirements to help with data clean up. Will be working with an onshore development team.
Power BI Report Developer, who is a highly motivated individual with both technical and creative skills responsible for creating reports and helping to maintain dataflows using Power BI. They will be tasked with consuming complex datasets containing technical data and creating visualizations that allow users to derive insights, understand the data, and create actionable responses Essential Functions- Consume and develop data in the Power Platform to produce reports and analysis
- Communicate with various teams to develop data and report requirements
- Translate business questions into Power BI dashboards and reports
- Translate technical and detailed information into easily consumable and accurate reports
- Assert guidance and recommendation of visualizations for analysis
- Experience with Power BI desktop
- Knowledge of DAX and Power Query to transform data and create custom calculations
- Experience with handling extremely large data and maintaining report performance a plus
- Ability to understand complex and technical datasets
- Basic relational database theory knowledge
- Basic understanding of data modeling
- Ability to query, load, and analyze data with the intent to identify patterns
