Infrastructure Analyst & End-User Support

Position Summary We are looking for an Infrastructure Analyst and End User Technician to support and continue transforming ASP’s IT service and infrastructure. Areas of responsibility include providing service and support of ASP’s back office and enterprise infrastructure, partnering with Fortive IT Shared Services regarding incident, request & change management and providing infrastructure support to other internal ASP teams . The ideal candidate has a bias for action, is customer obsessed, and has a proven track record of IT customer service. This role requires advanced interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, and a being a Team Player. A successful analyst will possess experience in customer service, desktop support, basic server and network administration, and delivering in a fast-paced transformation environment. Duties and Responsibilities

Provide technical support and initiative within IT Infrastructure Transformation Projects such as network upgrades and refreshes, annual end-user compute replacements, & Technical Debt reduction.

Infrastructure cost analysis and implementing cost savings actions within per-seat software and SaaS applications, internet circuits, & cloud resources such as AWS Workspaces, storage & backups.

Tagging and attribute management of AWS resources and Configuration Items within the ServiceNow CMDB.

Liaison between application teams and Fortive IT Shared Services related to Incidents, Requests & Change management.

L1 “White Glove” IT support.

Provide project support to IT Application teams and other IT related Statements of Work (SOW) as appropriate. Assist as needed with application upgrades on servers and clients.

On-site Infrastructure support in Irvine during major Irvine events such as Kaizens, workshops, and conferences.

Monitor and assign incidents and service request tickets from end users, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Open, track, facilitate, manage, and resolve incident and support requests with other internal IT teams (Infrastructure, Networking, etc) and external vendors as needed.

Establish and maintain knowledge base articles to continuously improve our support processes and capabilities.

Partner with Cyber Security team and improve overall coverage of security tools and monthly patches.

Identify trends in incidents or requests that present continuous improvement opportunities and increase overall user experience and customer delight.

Supports ASP’s mission of protecting patients in their most critical moments by ensuring our business users are setup for success in our R&D, CRM, QMS, and PLM systems – which our users depend on every day to support this mission.

Qualifications

Associates degree in computer related technologies (Information Systems, Networking, Cybersecurity, etc.).

3+ years of Information Technology experience to include in-person and remote customer support.

Experience with computer hardware (Windows, Mac).

Solid foundation of basic information technologies such as networking (TCP/IP, DNS), Active Directory, AWS/Azure, Wireless, & Windows Operating Systems & application installation & troubleshooting.

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Sharepoint).

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
