Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Receivable Specialist with 3 to 4+ years of cash application experience. The ideal candidate will hold an AA degree or have equivalent accounting experience, and possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. $25-28/hr. On-site work in South Irvine (must be local) 6 Months Contract-to-HireResponsibilities:
Apply a high volume of customer payments received via Lockbox, mail, EFT, and credit cards with a high degree of accuracy on a daily basis
Prepare and distribute daily cash receipts reports to various offices
Reconcile daily cash receipts to bank entries
Research entries posted to Unapplied Cash
Respond to cash receipt inquiries from our various offices
Respond to various email inquiries from customers and/or other departments in a timely manner
Ensure all cash receipts are in balance with Bank Ledger entries at month-end
Assist with other projects when necessary
Qualifications:
3-4+ years Cash application experience
Accounting knowledge
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Intermediate Microsoft Word skills
