Full time Equipment Operator for Underground Wet & Dry position with commercial, and civil experience. Operator is responsible for excavation, trenching, as well as assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. Ensures ground is prepped and trenches dug out for pipes; aligns pipes and seals joints together. Qualified applicants only. Please send resume with reference contact information to be considered. Responsibilities and Duties:
-Must have minimum 4yrs experience to be considered (Excavator, Backhoe & Loader Cat Controls)
-Run Crew
-Use hand tools, cut saw, shovel, bars
-Install sewer, water, and storm drainpipe in trenches
-Effectively read tape measure
-Effectively survey equipment
-Successfully use compressor and air tools
-Knowledge of trench shoring, rigging
-Knowledge of type and size of pipe, and related materials and equipment,
-Assembles and installs variety of metal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic.
-Operate Heavy Equipment (compensation based on experience) Minimum 4yrs experience
-Ability to fill out daily reports, job tickets
-Understands engineering grades and how to use a laser, flow liner
- Dependable, self-motivated, and task oriented
-Adhere to all Covid regulations & safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of previous experience in wet & dry underground utilities
- A valid driver license and clean driving record
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills, detail-oriented
-Foreman ability & knowledge to read plans, run projects and crew
