MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE
REPORTS TO: MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
JOB SUMMARY: PERFORM ALL ASPECTS OF DAY-TO-DAY MAINTENANCE
AND UPKEEP OF HUNT PROPERTIES
MAJOR DUTIES:
Plumbing replacement and repair of faucets, tubs, sinks, garbage disposers, valves, waste lines, toilets and vanity tops
Service or replace stoves, hoods, wall heaters (gas and electric) dishwashers, fans (including ceiling), and exhaust
Repair and replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, etc.
Woodwork, replace and repair cabinets, doors, kitchen counters, fences, patios, windows, wood siding, wood facia, etc.
Demolition removal of all fences, patios, old tubs, old cabinets, kitchen counters, and minor termite damage
All necessary repairs to make the apartments ready to rent
Painting when needed
Special projects as needed
ROOFING & HVAC EXPERIENCE A PLUS.
ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
At least 3+ years experience as a maintenance person in a multi-family and/or commercial setting. Must possess a valid driver’s license and all the necessary documents required by the government for employment. Must be physically able to lift at least 40 lbs. Must have a vehicle in good working order to get from property to property.
