About Us

Our camp offers a nurturing environment where children and adults with disabilities can enjoy activities, learn new skills, and make friends. We're currently seeking a Camp Facilities Manager to oversee our camp's facilities and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all.

Position Summary

As the Camp Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining our camp facilities and grounds, managing mechanical, electrical, sewage, and water systems, and ensuring the security of the campsite. This hands-on role involves working directly or through subordinate staff to keep our camp running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance of the camp's physical plant, including cabins, dining hall, recreation areas, and more.

Perform ground maintenance, including landscaping, pool upkeep, and pest control.

Supervise and execute preventive maintenance on all camp systems and equipment.

Lead improvement projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Manage camp security and safety, acting as the facility’s safety coordinator.

Oversee maintenance staff and volunteers, providing leadership and guidance.

Participate in budgeting, planning, and scheduling of facilities modifications and maintenance.

What You Bring

Proven experience in facilities and grounds maintenance, with knowledge of OSHA and ADA regulations.

Ability to manage construction projects, including reading blueprints and schematics.

Excellent leadership skills to supervise a diverse team and manage multiple projects.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Certified Pool Operator certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
