V I P DOORS Is Looking for experienced Commercial Door and Dock Technician.
Mechanically inclined apprentice possessing a positive attitude.
We welcome the opportunity to train an individual who is open-minded, coachable, and skilled in welding and electrical work. A company truck and power tools will be provided for use during work shifts.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Adherence to safe driving and workplace practices
- Capacity to lift 50 pounds
- Proficiency in climbing extension ladders
- Collaborative team mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Quick to learn and anticipate the needs of the foreman
- Drive to independently manage a truck within 3-6 months
- Oversight of truck inventory and equipment
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members
- Proficient with hand tools for installations and repairs
- Knowledge of welding techniques for metalwork
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for job site travel
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required
- Keenness to master commercial door installation and service
- Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime
