We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Painter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting, with the ability to work on various surfaces and in different environments. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will know how to prepare for a job assignment as well as finish a job assignment in entirety. They will be self-motivated and energetic, committed to providing a high-quality product while adhering to safety regulations, and work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and applying primer.
Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Repair and touch up existing paintwork as needed.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment as required. products. Must be proficient in using all tools of trade such as ladders, brushes, rollers, sprayers, sanders, various hand tools, and lifts safely.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Journeyman Painter or similar role.
Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to mix and match colors accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to get on the Government Base (pass a background check) and provide documentation
Benefits:
