Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Dismantler who can efficiently remove parts from vehicles while also handling order fulfillment, inventory management, and quality control. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using technology and software to track workflow, designate tasks, and manage inventory. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantle vehicles efficiently, ensuring parts are removed safely and undamaged.
- Prepare and fulfill orders, retrieving parts from inventory and ensuring accuracy.
- Clean, wash, tag, and mark parts for identification and quality control.
- Maintain a well-organized parts inventory, keeping shelves stocked and properly labeled.
- Utilize inventory management software to track parts, orders, and workflow.
- Assign and regulate tasks among team members to maintain efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport vehicles and parts (forklift certification is a plus).
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements:
- Experience in auto dismantling and parts handling.
- Ability to use software and technology for tracking and workflow management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Forklift operation experience (preferred but not required).
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must be a self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
