IT Technician
Location: 90% Perris 10% Irvine
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Pay Rate: $30 per hour and up
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated IT Technician to join our team as soon as this week. This role reports to the IT Manager and is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in IT support while working directly with end users. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up workstations, assisting with network configurations, and providing general technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows/macOS) and software
Assist with network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, switches, routers)
Perform basic hardware repairs and upgrades
Support end-users with technical issues in person and remotely
Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system
Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex problems
Maintain IT inventory and ensure proper asset tracking
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
CompTIA A+ or similar IT certification a plus
Experience with Office 365, or remote desktop tools
Prior help desk or IT support experience (even in a school/lab setting)
