Private Career School in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge of Oregon, is seeking a passionate and qualified Lead Educations Manager in the field of Cosmetology to join our family! The ideal candidate will have previous classroom training and salon management experience. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality classroom education specific to Hair Design, while overseeing Nail Technology and Esthetics programs. Ensuring students gain the knowledge, skills and training needed for successful careers in the beauty industry. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing student services, overseeing practical daily adaptive learning, and ensuring students provide exceptional service to clients as a Learning Leader managing the student clinic floor. Qualifications/Skills:
- Licensed Cosmetology; Hair Design, Esthetics & Nails
- Classroom Training Experience in Hair Cutting, Chemicals & Styling
- JPMS Hair Cutting & Professional Product Understanding a bonus
- Adaptive service knowledge in Nails & Esthetics
- Behind the chair salon industry experience
- Excellent organization, coaching and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and the beauty industry
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Educator in Hair Design, Styling, Cutting, Chemicals & Coloring
- Salon Management/Learning Leader for Student Salon Clinic
- Adaptive understanding and guidance in Nail Technology and Esthetics
- Supportive coaching, mentoring and inspiring students in career development
- Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student performance
- Foster a positive and supportive team learning environment
Position:
Hourly Rate, Dependent on Experience
Four to Five Days a Week, 9am -6pm Daily
