Your job will be to canvass neighborhoods in Southern California with the goal of creatingappointments for a solar consultant to close a solar deal with the customer. The solar canvasser applicant must be able to physically canvass in Southern California.
Duties
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets
- Generate leads and build a pipeline of prospective clients
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the products/services offered
- Previous experience in any sales, especially solar sales,is a plus
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, products, and industry trends is a plus
- Bilingual/multilingual proficiency is a plus
Compensation
This is a 100% commission-only position. Work your own hours. Commission is paid after each solar system installation. Those that start strong earn their first commission after 30-45 days.
First month bonuses of $500 per signed deal, up to $4,000 for the first month, paid after M1 permit approval.
M1 permit approval occurs after a contract is signed and home undergoes a site survey (1 week).
Top performing canvassersearn over $75,000 in their first year. Canvasserscan be promoted to solar consultant, which can make $80,000-$200,000, with top consultants earning over $500,000 a year. Top solar consultants with excellent leadership skills who build a teamaround them to set up appointments earn over $1 million a year.
