Kendall Farms is looking for Junior Sales Representative for its Retail division. This position is a critical role within our organization. Strong organization, admin & time management skills necessary. The person who will excel in this position will be one who feels comfortable is a fast-paced environment, reliable work ethic and likes to be the advocate between internal and external partners.

F/T M-F 6:30am-3:00pm

Hrly $20 plus commission. Approx. Total Comp between $50-$60k

Job Duties

Answers all internal primary contacts emails and phone calls in timely manner.

Organize/coordinate all planning/logistics/admin for trade shows (both industry & customer) with primary internal contacts.

Problem-solves as issues arise.

Provide Bouquet Production dept with new pricing to include product budgets, benchmarks & all other hard good costs.

Serves as liaison between existing customer orders and KF primary internal contacts within agreed upon procedures.

Assistance with setting appointments with potential customers

Sets up prospective customers in the ERP database (customer card).

Understanding of price calculator and assists sales with proposals for management approval.

Prepares weekly and monthly analytic reports.

Participates in, and adds value to, in any sales, marketing, projection meetings.

Stays current in the industry by reading trade magazines, attending industry functions and floral workshops, and talking with other industry representatives; passes knowledge along to customers on industry trends.

Answers all existing customer/product requests on a timely basis; actively solves customer problems.

Assist with A/R collections efforts via leveraging buyer teams feedback and support.

Complete Retailers Rebate forms

Maintain Trader Joe’s inventory reports.

Monitors orders going to existing customers on a weekly basis and follows up with customer to determine if product was in good condition and met their needs.

Notifies customers about season endings, shortages, changes to orders, ship dates and last-minute cancellations due to lack of inventory or quality issues.

Proactively contacts customers if the product doesn’t meet their spec.

Sends confirmation for new and revised orders to customers within established time frames via customer procurement platforms and/or email.

Understanding of customer bookings and how to use the information for forecasting.

Creates monthly store field visit reports.

Creation of new ERP items associated hard good BOMs.

Enters credit as per the established RMA process.

Enters firm orders in ERP system and order changes accurately as per established order processing procedures.

Provide backup on customers EDI platforms invoicing process.

Move all orders to in transit status on customer platforms.

Provide production dept with necessary order details (via email) on orders that are within 2 weeks of outbound shipment.

Provides adequate details (pictures, detailed descriptions, etc.) in a timely manner to ensure KF’ ability to recover its costs.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:

Ability to output high volume of work accurately with attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Ability to provide A-plus customer service to internal and external customers

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written

Advanced data entry and Microsoft Office Suite skill set
