Looking for ENTRY LEVEL and/or EXPERIENCED candidates
Specialty fabrication company is seeking entry level and/or experienced individuals to work within the retail division of the company. Work will be as an assistant, working closely with the department head.
Prior experience a plus in any of the following:
-shipping/receiving
-warehouse
-facilities maintenance
-deliveries/driving
-forklift/reachlift
-inventory
-customer service
JOB SUMMARY:
A qualified candidate will provide the necessary skills and attitude to assist the retail and shipping/receiving department. Qualified candidates must follow all Company safety policy guidelines and instructions. Strong organizational skills needed, as duties will include pulling orders and material and assisting in loading customer vehicles. Must be willing and able to learn how to drive a fork-lift and reach-lift to move material and orders. Must be a team player. Must have strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly. Certain facilities maintenance duties will be required such as repairing or maintaining warehouse and work-site cleanliness. The right candidate with the right attitude can be trained for this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Driving forklift/reachlift to pull pallets and material for loading and unloading of commercial and customer vehicles
Maintaining warehouse/site cleanliness and occasional basic maintenance
Documenting shipping/receiving and inventory movement of materials and products
Delivering products and materials with company vehicles
Assisting customers with questions about product and materials
Stay self-organized and productive
Must use inventory tracking and computer/paper tracking systems
Must follow Company safety and quality procedures.
Must be reliable, consistent, communicate clearly, and have a solid work ethic
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years in related fields is a major plus
Must have a clean driving record
Prior forklift / reach lift experience a major plus
Experienced with the use of basic tools
Minimum 75lbs lifting ability
Ability to perform the physically demanding aspects of the job including lifting 75 lbs, working at a fast past at times, standing and/or walking most of a shift, climbing ladders, working from the ground, bending at the waist, and working in outdoor and indoor environments
Ability to read and understand order forms and inventory documents
Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions while working independently
Ability to fluently speak, read, and understand English.
Drug Test and E-Verify prior to employment
M-F 7AM - 3:30PM standard hours
Pay is entry level $20.00 - $22.00 DOE, pay is weekly
