WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE:
· Answer phones and direct calls to correct employee. Receive deliveries, check and process mail
Maintain control of payroll records and personnel related matters with strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive information
· Oversee the accurate and timely preparation, input, analysis and processing of weekly multi-county payroll data, while ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws
· Must ensure compliance with employees covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement
· Monitor and manage time keeping data and compile reports for weekly payroll entry
· Support all internal and external audits related to payroll and union benefits
· Perform other tasks as requested by management
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
· Construction experience, highly desired
· LCP Tracker/Certified, DIR, BOE data platforms, labor compliance documents highly desired
· Prevailing Wage experience is required; DAS 140/142 & FBS
· Familiarity with job costing
· Highly analytical with a strong working knowledge of general payroll protocols
· Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
· MS Excel skills: Basic
· Self-directed and able to work well and communicate effectively in a team environment
· Ability to adapt to conflicting deadlines and priorities established by company demands
· Willingness for on-going training as it relates to payroll laws and regulations
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent time management skills
· Flexible, proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented individual
Job Type: Full-time (Monday thru Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-4:30) May be negotiated
Salary: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
