Purchasing and Receiving Manager

Online parts retailer and wholesale distributor is looking for a Fulltime Purchasing and Receiving agent. This person will be in charge of all inventory aspects from beginning to end through our QuickBooks software. Making sure Min and Max are set up correctly based on last year's sales and comparison and update correct cost based on vendor costs. Will work directly with management and provide weekly reports on progress. We are looking for someone reliable who has strong leadership skills and is a motivated team player. This is not an entry level position. You must have experience as a primary Purchasing Agent or Buyer.

Job Responsibilities:

- Create purchase orders in QuickBooks based on reviewed weekly, monthly, or quarterly purchasing needs

based on vendor ETA

- Review and submit vendor PO’s for purchases

- Handle all sourcing for multiple inventory items in a timely manner

- Constantly review and monitor inventory to make any necessary updates and adjustments

- Manage accurate electronic documentation trail by including PO’s, Order acknowledgements, Item receipts and

Posting bills

- Maintain/Manage accurate inventory levels for our Build Assemblies

Requirements:

- Excellent attention to detail, accurate data entry skills

- Work independently

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, able to work well under pressure.

- Excellent verbal and communication skills

- Experience working in QuickBooks and Excel is preferred
