Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Processor with experience in the staffing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, auditing weekly payroll data, and ensuring accurate invoicing and data entry. This role demands proficiency in Excel, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
Pay range: $20-$22 per hour, depending on previous staffing payroll experience (rate negotiable).
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some overtime required.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process and review weekly payroll to ensure compliance and precision.
Audit payroll records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
Generate, review, and revise invoices as necessary to maintain accuracy.
Enter and maintain payroll data with a high level of accuracy.
Use Excel to perform payroll calculations, create reports, and track data.
Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records and documentation.
Requirements:
Previous experience in payroll processing, ideally within a staffing environment.
Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, data entry, and reporting).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle sensitive payroll information with confidentiality.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work overtime when required.
