Cobra Carbide has been in business for over 35 years and is a manufacturer of round carbide cutting tools. This is a fulltime position offering medical, paid time off and a great working environment.

As a Customer Support Representative this person’s responsibility will include assisting in taking of orders from new and existing customers, developing strong relationships with new and existing accounts, supporting our sales staff in their sales efforts, data entry into our ERP (Sage) system and general customer service functions. This person will work closely with the purchasing & planning team to provide sales and customer needed information on the orders they have placed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Taking inbound calls from new and existing customers routing them to the proper person or department.

Assist and support the Sales staff in procuring orders, data entry and sales order management

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

Provide pricing to clients in accordance with company guidelines

Communicate clearly the progress of customer orders and requests

Collaborate with sales team, purchasing & planning teams to timely delivery of products.

Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times with both internal staff and with potential and existing clients

Other tasks assigned by management and deemed necessary to the operation of the position and/or organization.

Qualifications:

This person must have a very positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

Proven work experience as an Administrative Assistant or in Customer Service.

Demonstrated ability to communicate and work as a team player

Bilingual (Spanish) helpful but not required.

Must be highly organized and able to multitask while managing several projects at a time.

Solid experience with Excel; should have experience with CRM software and MS office is a must (particularly MS Excel & PowerPoint).

This person answers the majority of incoming calls and must have a good phone voice and positive attitude.
