Responsibilities:
Perform sanitation duties in designated areas of the facility.
Work with various cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain cleanliness.
Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Operate in a hot environment and handle hot water as required.
Follow established procedures to ensure thorough sanitation of equipment and surfaces.
Maintain cleanliness in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Prior experience in sanitation work, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
Comfortable working with hot water and in a hot environment.
Ability to wear and properly use PPE including hairnet, face mask, gloves, sleeves, safety goggles, rubber boots, and chemical apron.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work starting between 12:00 to 1:00 pm until the job is completed
