We are looking for a Production Supervisor to maintain the production processes on our Blown and Cast Plastic Extrusion lines. We are one of the top producers of Stretch Film in North America. (aka pallet wrap)
Key components of this role are analyzing production data and offering constructive improvements to optimize production outputs by getting hands on and involved. Duties will include monitoring employees, organizing workflows and analyzing the efficiency of manufacturing processes and making changes to the process to insure we are achieving our goals.
Experience in plastic extrusion processing helpful
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Oversee the daily production schedule of various production lines, making adjustments as required due to material and worker availability to achieve higher output
-Establish daily objectives and communicate them to employees
-Evaluate various workstations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
-Organize, monitor and prioritize tasks to meet production goals. Guide and coach employees equipping them with the necessary tools to meet the quality and production goals
-Provide training and education for the purpose of developing a strong team
-Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards within the production environment. Oversee safe use of equipment and reporting any maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
-Provide leadership in maintaining the visual factory initiatives.
-Display strong interpersonal and communication skills, a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
-Assist in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and performance management
-Manage work schedules, time off requests and overall attendance and performance
This is a full time hourly position 6pm to 6am twelve hour shifts, Great money making opportunity, lots of overtime
