Global Energy Services (GES) partners with SoCalGas and Edison to promote and implement energy efficiency programs and direct install services to residential and commercial customers. Our mission is to help customers reduce their energy consumption and save money through innovative solutions and exceptional service.
Job Overview:
As a Booth Outreach Assistant, you will represent GES at various booth locations, engaging with potential customers to promote our energy efficiency programs and direct install services. Your primary goal is to generate interest, provide information, and assist with the enrollment of customers into our programs.
Responsibilities:
Set up and manage booth displays at various events and locations.
Engage with passersby to attract attention and interest in our programs.
Provide detailed information about SoCalGas and Edison energy efficiency programs and direct install services.
Answer questions and address concerns from potential customers.
Collect customer information and assist with the sign-up process.
Distribute promotional materials and educational resources.
Maintain a positive and professional image of the company at all times.
Report feedback and insights from customer interactions to the management team.
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation to various booth locations.
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Prior experience in customer service, sales, or marketing is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage with a diverse range of people in a friendly and approachable manner.
Basic knowledge of energy efficiency programs and services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift and transport promotional materials and booth equipment.
