Workers’ Compensation Legal/Office Assistant Needed
General Duties Include, but are not limited to:
Phones and Emails (Proficient in phone etiquette and proper email correspondence)
Scheduling Case Appointments for Clients
Coordinate Attorney Calendars
New Client Intakes
Electronic Scanning and Filing
Prepare Correspondence and Legal Documents
Updating Client Records (MERUS software)
Mail Preparation and Distribution
Make Deliveries And Pick-Ups As Needed
Candidate Requirements:
Customer Service Skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability To Multi-Task and Prioritize
Follow Directions And Complete Assignments In Timely Manner
Self Starter with Excellent Critical Thinking Skills
Must Be Detail Oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
Ability To Learn MERUS, EAMS And Other Computer Programs Used In An Attorney’s Office
Must Have Reliable Vehicle And Auto Insurance
Understanding Of Workers’ Compensation Process and Language (a plus but not required)
Flexible work hours of 20 - 38 hours a week (subject to change).
