Key Responsibilities:
Shipping Documentation:
Prepare and review shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations and customer requirements.
Communication:
Facilitate communication between the shipping office and other warehouse departments.
Collaborate with the shipping team to address any issues or challenges.
Order Processing:
Coordinate with the shipping team to process customer orders and generate shipping schedules.
Ensure order processing accuracy and timeliness.
Customer Service:
Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to shipping.
Address customer concerns and provide updates on shipping status.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and oversee quality control measures for outbound shipments.
Address and resolve any issues related to product quality or shipping errors.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the shipping office.
Suggest best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
