Position Overview:

As a Shipping and Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping process, from preparing orders for shipment to ensuring the accuracy and quality of outgoing products. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including production, logistics, and customer service, to streamline operations and maintain the highest standards of quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping Coordination: Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

Quality Control Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels for outgoing shipments.

Packaging and Labeling: Ensure proper packaging and labeling of products to prevent damage during transit and comply with regulatory requirements.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments, including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping manifests.

Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipments, including damaged products, missing items, or shipping errors.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in shipping and quality control procedures.

Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and logistics partners to ensure smooth coordination of shipping activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or quality control roles.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with shipping software/systems (e.g., FedEx, UPS, ShipStation).

Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
