We are a food manufacturing company that specializes in the production and packing of juices and sauces.
As a production supervisor you are responsible for activities in production area(s) to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
Responsibilities:
Panning, organizing and delegate work assignments to accommodate production schedules.
Assign work tasks based on production needs and employee skills, and assist in the hiring of new employees.
Provide direction to all production personnel, monitoring their job performance.
Communicating with production manager and other management staff about any problems that may occur in production areas.
Ensure that the quality of product meets all necessary requirements
Implement training for all employees, practice and follow all safety procedures, good manufacturing practices.
Prepare production reports and verify inventory.
Additional demands may be required
Requirements:
· 3 years’ experience as production supervisor (food, Beverage, or consumer packaged goods)
· Ability to lift up to 25lbs
· Able to bend, twist, walking, repetitive movements, and standing for extended periods.
· Handling hazardous equipment
· Bilingual is a plus
· Overtime required
Shift: 1st 6am-6pm- start time can change depending on production flow (OT required)
2nd shift (6pm-6am) OT required
Pay rate: $25-30 DOE
Must have flexible schedule
