Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of diesel engine experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines.
Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Ability to read and understand work orders.
Experience with roll off trucks and trailers.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and must have your own tools.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines using diagnostic tools such as diagnostic software and test equipment such as O2 sensors, O2 pressure sensors, O3 catalytic convertors etc.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment including oil change, air filter etc.
Repair and replace hydraulic systems on pumps, valves etc.
Install new parts such as oil filters, fuel filters etc. in engines using tools such as hand tools, hydraulic pumps and power tools.
Proficient with DOT regulations and safety hazards.
