Job Summary
The Operations Supervisor oversees daily production and logistics activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across teams. This role provides hands-on leadership and works closely with Leads to meet production goals and maintain compliance with CLS standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise production, packing, processing, and logistics operations.
Enforce food safety, GMP, and safety standards (HACCP, OSHA, AIB).
Ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently; perform checks and coordinate with maintenance.
Lead and train team members; provide coaching and development opportunities.
Maintain inventory levels and prepare shift reports.
Monitor performance metrics, staffing needs, and productivity.
Address and document workplace incidents, including policy violations and safety concerns.
Coordinate with other departments and adjust plans based on production demands.
Drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and team engagement.
Leadership & Compliance
Model and enforce CLS’s safety, anti-harassment, and workplace policies.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S/Six Sigma).
Support line leads and ensure smooth daily operations.
Conduct accident investigations and follow up with HR.
Monitor timekeeping, attendance, and team discipline.
Qualifications
3–5 years in a production environment; supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with production software is a plus.
Bilingual and multicultural team management experience is a bonus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment; must lift up to 50 lbs.
Open to flexible hours and overtime as needed.
Schedule flexibility and/or weekends as needed (training schedule TBD/flexible). 2nd 1:15 pm – 10:00 pm Pay: $24-$28/hr. DOE
