Job description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for the daily inventory counts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for counting inventory daily to ensure the accuracy of stock on hand.
Research all discrepancies between daily counts and inventory records.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in inventory control is highly preferred
Skills:
Proficient in computer skills, beginner to intermediate Excel skills
Able to use measuring tools such as a tape measure and calipers
Basic math skills
Typical Working Conditions:
Manufacturing warehouse environment with occasional temperature changes in humidity.
Constant noise with frequent vibrations.
Working around equipment and machinery.
Equipment Used:
Must be able to use the reach forklift for necessary counts.
Manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and dollies.
Essential Physical Tasks:
Push up to 50lbs rarely.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, talk, hear, and repetitively use hands.
