We are a small e-commerce business looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to perform various tasks. We are a husband and wife team that runs a growing bulk media operation. You will be working closely with our warehouse manager, who will train you on all the duties in the warehouse. We mainly sell DVDs, CDs, records, and video games on a variety of platforms including Amazon, eBay, Cratejoy, Etsy, and our own website. We have a small, family oriented team environment and everyone gets along well; we are looking for someone that can work well in a team and can stay motivated to get work done!
Main duties will include:
-Sorting and Scanning Pallets-we receive our bulk media in pallets which must be picked through and scanned to see what we will resell. The pallets are often dusty so you must be willing to get your hands dirty for this part of the process. You will need to be comfortable moving boxes that weigh up to 50lbs.
-Checking Discs- once we have sorted pallets and set aside the media we want to sell we then have to open the cases and make sure the correct disc is in the case and check to see if the disc is too scratched in which case we will resurface it before sending it to the customer. This part of the process along with other steps can be repetitive, so you must be self-motivated to keep working hard on repetitive tasks.
-Listing- the last part of the bulk process is listing the inventory through our software. This requires attention to detail as you label the products
