Position Overview:

The Customer Service Coordinator attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions, processing orders, preparing correspondence, and fulfilling customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. The position will also communicate directly with customers and sales representatives and report directly to the Customer Service Manager to ensure a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Process customer orders and the reporting of relevant data to 3PL providers.

Coordinates with customers regarding order status, ship dates, prices, availability, and backorders

Gathers and reviews all the necessary order entry specifications and details to deliver the order per the customer's request.

Resolves product or service problems by clarifying customer complaints.

Respond to incoming calls, emails, and other messages from customers.

Interacts with unsatisfied clients, implementing service and communication techniques, resolving any conflicts professionally, and answering inquiries respectfully.

Determines the root cause of service complaints; identifies the best case solution; expedites correction or adjustment; and follows up to ensure a proper resolution for the customer.

Analyzes sales reports and client account information to gain insight into the best way to provide service for specific clients, then explains this information to sales associates.

Ensures all products are transferred and delivered to the designated location as requested.

Review the availability of items to be shipped by checking inventory records or conducting a spot inventory of required products.

Identifies and reports slow-moving products.

Ensures that all necessary reports and forms are filled out and submitted in a timely manner.

Communicating and coordinating with supervisor, as necessary

Follows Good Manufacturing Practices.

Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Keeps Manager and Supervisor informed of the Finished Goods Inventory status and reports any discrepancies.

Attends all company training sessions.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Strong communication skills

Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

Consistent professionalism with others in a high-demand work environment

Ability to meet department deadlines as established by management

Computer and data-application skills (1-year SAP experience preferred)

Ability to successfully operate with limited direction

A minimum of two years experience as a warehouse team member

Responsible, dependable, conscientious, alert, and safety-minded

Good math skills, required

Excellent attendance and safety record

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Able to meet the work environment's physical demands as described below.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related college education preferred, or two to three years experience in shipping and receiving, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Food Safety & Quality Requirements/Responsibilities:

Adheres to all Food Safety/Quality SOPs

Accurately completes required Food Safety & Quality Records

Communicate any known or suspected Food Safety/ Quality issues to the QA Manager and Department Manager.

Attends all Food Safety/Quality training sessions.

Work Environment:

Work is normally performed in a warehouse/production environment. As part of the job requirements, the associate may be exposed to a production setting and will work in a sub-zero freezer with a temperature of -20◦ at times. The associate must be flexible with a work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility. The schedule will include weekends and mandatory overtime.
