Job Summary
As a Spanish Speaking Licensed Vocational Nurse/Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. You will work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing physical examinations and health assessments
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide wound care, suture removal, and other basic medical procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and disease management
Qualifications
- Current LVN license in the state of practice
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of infectious disease care
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) usage
- Ability to conduct physical examinations and assist with medical office procedures
- Experience in providing care in assisted living or hospice settings is a plus
