VCC is an equal opportunity employer.ResponsibilitiesAssist community residents in completing eligibility and application packets for healthcare insurance enrollment or renewalInstruct clients on the documents necessary for the eligibility process, and provide an overview of available healthcare insurance optionsAct as a liaison between the patient, healthcare insurance group, and VCC for enrollment information, and for maintenance of healthcare insuranceQualificationsMinimumHigh school graduate or equivalentBilingual English/SpanishWillingness and ability to complete certification as a Covered California Certified Enrollment Counselor (CEC)Minimum two years' of experience in the customer service or social service fields, or in community volunteer workValid California driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportationPreferredCovered California Certified Enrollment Counselor (CEC)Required Skills/Knowledge/AbilitiesKnowledge of community health centers, public assistance programs, state and federal regulations and managed care systemsStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsBasic computer knowledge, internet use and MS OfficePay Range$18.50-$20.75PI240517566 Apply
