Currently seeking mature dependable caregiver for private home. Responsibilities include providing supervision to an adult male with intellectual and developmental disabilities, minimal assistance with activities of daily living, transportation (as needed), and a willingness to interact with the client. Must be compassionate, caring and feel comfortable within a private home setting. The successful applicant has to demonstrate punctuality, good communication skills and schedule flexibility. This client is friendly, shy at the beginning, and loves to interact socially. He has personal hobbies that he engages in while in his home setting. Fully vaccinated. Single blood sugar check while on duty (will train.)
Additional requirements include a valid driver's license, dependable transportation with access to a vehicle during working hours, Home Care Aid license/registration (will assist with registration if not already registered), CPR (or complete training in a timely manner will pay for training), current TB test (within last 12 months). Provide references upon request.
Weekly scheduled day vary from week to week. Hours vary and the candidate needs availability to include week days with 3 weekend shifts a month.
IHSS provider preferred but will consider assisting to get registered with IHSS San Bernardino County.
Additional hours not covered by IHSS will be paid monthly.
Incentive bonus for the successful candidate after 30 days of continuous employment and on time attendance. I pay up to $25/hr and this is paid monthly as additional pay. IHSS pay is $18.00/hr to be paid by IHSS.
