Job Duties:
Teach individuals social/life skills to help them lead more independent lives, including communication skills, mobility, money management, communication, and public transportation
Teach individuals vocational skills to help prepare them for entry-level employment
Supervise individuals during hours of instruction and on community outings and volunteering
Build friendly and professional rapport with individuals and act as a positive role model for work habits, communication skills, and social skills
Requirements:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent certificate
Must pass a criminal record clearance
Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
Current CPR and First Aid training required
Ability to pass DOJ fingerprint clearance (Live Scan)
Must have a clear driving record, valid CA driver’s license, and 2 years driving experience, safe reliable transportation, and proof of current vehicle registration and auto insurance.
APPLICANT MUST BE ABLE TO USE THEIR VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT CLIENTS
