We're looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Gram’s BBQ Restaurant & Catering. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support our team. You'll also play a key role in coordinating and executing our busy catering services, which can range from intimate events to large-scale functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing day-to-day front and back-of-house operations
Train, support, and lead staff to ensure excellent service and food quality
Help manage schedules, inventory, and vendor relationships
Coordinate and support large catering orders and off-site events
Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met
Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
Step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications:
Prior restaurant management or supervisory experience is preferred
Experience with catering or event coordination a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Team-oriented with a “lead by example” attitude
