maintaining food safety standards in the kitchen area.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Prepare all menu items according to Broken Yolk recipes
Maintain a clean work environment in the kitchen area
Ensure correct temperature on all ingredients
Follow food safety standards
In addition to these responsibilities, the Cook must have the ability and willingness to:
Follow the Broken Yolk system and standards
Learn ingredients and prep methods for all Broken Yolk menu item.
Understand order tickets from a POS system
Follow verbal and written instructions
Communicate effectively with co-workers
Report to work on time each day
Maintain a positive attitude
Set a good example for his co-workers
Work in a small or tight area
Work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
Stand for long periods of time
Bend, stoop or reach several times daily
Lift up to 20 pounds
Go in and out of cold storage
Operate all cooking equipment including stove, grill and fryer
Safely use knives and other sharp objects
Obtain a valid food handler card
