Assistant Manager Job Duties:
Greet and speak with all our guests – ensure our service and food is legendary and our guests experience is exemplary.
Open and/or close restaurant on assigned days
Place wine/liquor/beer orders as needed
Ensure indoor dining and outdoor patio are ready for guests throughout your shift.
Keep the front of the restaurant up to health department standards - Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement, monitoring food presentation and service.
Deal with guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with mindful judgement at the time of the request, inquiry and complaint is made. (Report request, inquiry and complaints to upper management and advise how you handled)
Work with upper management to manage employees
Assistant Manager Skills and Qualifications:
Prior restaurant management is required!
