We are a property management company overseeing a diverse portfolio of mixed-use properties throughout California. We are currently hiring a Site Inspector to help ensure our properties meet high standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Summary:
The Site Inspector is responsible for conducting regular inspections of residential and commercial spaces, documenting site cleanliness and conditions, taking pictures, identifying maintenance and safety issues, and identifying areas for improvement. Please note that this position will primarily involve remote/field work.
Responsibilities:
Inspect residential units, retail spaces, and shared areas across multiple properties.
Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance needs, and areas of improvement.
Ensure common areas (e.g., lobbies, storefronts, parking lots) are clean and that contracted work is being performed.
Document findings using mobile apps, pictures, and/or inspection software.
Coordinate with management to resolve issues.
Communicate effectively with management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in property management or facilities is a plus).
Experience in property inspection, facilities, or security preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Comfortable using mobile devices, phone camera, and reporting tools.
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Must be available to work early morning hours as early as 4:00 am.
Note: Driving is an essential function of this role due to frequent site visits. Alternative transportation methods are not feasible due to time and distance requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate: $20.00 – $22.00
Phone/Mileage reimbursement
Paid time off and sick leave
