Description Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis, investigating and resolving any discrepancies Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, and other reports for management review Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliation of accounts Support external audit and tax processes by providing accurate and timely financial information and documentation Stay current on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to management as neededRequirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry or environment Proficiency in Sage accounting software is requested Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment CPA designation or progress towards CPA certification is a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
