Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Security Administrator in the Manufacturing industry, based in Inglewood, California. The focus of the role is to safeguard our system's data and networks, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information. Utilize 'Comptia Security+', 'MS Excel', 'Microsoft Excel', 'Network Architecture', 'Security Policy' skills to perform daily tasks and improve system security. Monitor and analyze alerts from a variety of security tools, identifying potential threats, intrusions, or compromises. Conduct basic security certification or cybersecurity-related certification alongside equivalent work experience. Provide excellent customer service, resolving any cybersecurity-related inquiries promptly and efficiently. Maintain a deep understanding of Windows operating system to ensure system security. Understand and adhere to standard operating processes and procedures. Maintain a basic understanding of network architecture to support the security of the system. Requirements Candidate should possess at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using MS Excel and Microsoft Excel is required. A strong understanding of Network Architecture is necessary. The ability to develop and implement Security Policies is essential. Certification in Comptia Security+ is highly desirable. The willingness to continually update knowledge and skills in systems security is important. Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with different teams within the organization. A problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any system security issues that might arise. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. An understanding of the manufacturing industry's security needs and regulations is beneficial.
