Job DescriptionLOOKING FOR EVENT DIRECTORS IN PHOENIX ARIZONA Effectively acquire and develop new customers by direct contact. Ability to maintain and grow client relationships for long term account sales. Responsible for developing additional business through extraordinary customer service and rapport building, as well as managing existing client accounts. Prepare and execute customer sales orders. Involvement in creative aspects of event design. Fully involved in preproduction, production, installation, and strike for events. Oversee and direct Town & Country event drivers and helpers for installation and strike. Anticipate potential problems and avert or handle them with decorum. Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities. Attend mandatory sales meetings and training sessions, as required. Compose and type routine correspondence and memoranda using Word processing software. Compose and respond to all correspondence (electronic, mail, phone) in a timely manner. Perform other related duties as required. Detects and eliminates or minimizes safety hazards. Adheres to company and OSHA safety regulations. Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to [email protected] .   To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/ .Skills and Requirements Two years prior sales within Event Rental Industry Extensive product knowledge of Event Rentals CAD or free-hand diagram ability Proven and successful sales skills. Excellent telephone etiquette High School Diploma or equivalent · Ability to safely manage installation crews of various sizes on different event sites.· Extensive knowledge of Town & Country's rental inventory.· Familiarity with tent installation, electrical requirements for off-site locations.· Thorough knowledge of city/county/state ordinances, restrictions, permits with relation to upcoming events.· Must be able to effectively communicate in person with clients, coordinators, vendors, security and Town & Country personnel.· Must be able to meet required or exceed required sales goals, expectations and objectives.· Ability to work on a team, yet be a self-started in a dynamic and fast paced environment.· Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, and make effective sales presentations with key decision makers within the event rental industry.· Ability to analyze and creatively solve problems.· At ease with conducting consultative sales calls.· Ability to develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the Event Rental community.· Responsible for promoting Town & Country as a leader in Event Rentals.· Making sales presentations to key prospects and costumers that positively influence the demand for company's service.· Possess superior organization skills and display excellent time management skills.· Ability to measure and diagram event sites accurately, noting all obstacles, potential conflicts, zoning restrictions and requirements.· Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods, including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.· Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda, minutes, and reports.· Skilled use of a personal computer and various software packages.· Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.· Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems. nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
